Abstract

This study is designed to investigate the stress degree and health state in family of caregiver of chemotherapy patients.
This subjects have been studied by researching 100 families caregiver who were taking care of chemotherapy patients at admitted hospital in Gwangju city.
The research tools are a Gwang-hee Yang(1998)¡¯s stress questionnaire(4 point scale) and health questionnaire(4 point scale) developed by Dong-he Kim(1998).
The data has been collected through direct interview with questionnaire in Gwangju city, the Republic of Korea from 15th February to 15th March 2001.
The data is analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson¡¯s correlation coefficients, and Scheffe¡¯ test using SPSS/PC£«.
The results of this study are summarized as followings:
1. The mean score of the stress level is 2.20 and the health state was 1.54 (Maximum : 4).
